Shoebox BAS is an innovative solution that reduces the administrative time and cost in lodging your Business Activity Statement (BAS), and simplifies preparing your paperwork for your accountant.

It works as follows:

1. Free Accounting couriers you a box (shoe box size), including some template forms for non cash expenses (e.g. MV and FBT).
2. You use the box to collect your receipts, completed forms and bank statements, and send the box back to us.
3. Free Accounting processes all of your transactions and produces your financial reports.
4. We prepare and lodge your BAS.
5. We send another box out to you for your next BAS.

Shoebox BAS demonstrates how easy we can make bookkeeping for you. In addition to preparing and lodging your BAS, we also produce financial reports for you to take to your accountant. In doing so, Free Accounting minimises your accountant’s workload and generally reduces your accounting costs.
